Sathuragiri: Offline Content Provider in Madurai Kavalan

Copseye with Madurai district police has included a new feature called Sathuragiri in their mobile application Madurai Kavalan in view of the Aadi Amavasai festival. Sathuragiri feature will be providing OFFLINE CONTENT AS A SERVICE.


The public has to connect with WiFi Router and use the sathuragiri feature in the app. It contains information such as history of the temple, locate parking lots, emergency helpline numbers, size of the crowd on the hills. And it also have details of medical facilities, drinking water and food locations in a map. Police Department will be able to file the missing person and give announcements to the public.


People can download Madurai Kavalan app from Google Play store and update it to enable Sathuragiri link. So far, over 8000+ people have downloaded the app in their mobile phones.


Launched in December 2017, Madurai Kavalan app specially built for Madurai district people. The application features such as locked home monitoring system, E-compliant portal, Madurai Police stations and officers details for Madurai people. So far 5000+ responses came through the LMHS- Locked Home Monitoring System, feature in the app.

Previously during chithirai festival public were able to locate the Lord Alagar procession from Alagar kovil to Madurai and back using the TRACK ALAGAR feature.
